My sweet Nala was diagnosed with kidney disease earlier this year...and after months of vet appointments and a very difficult past two weeks, I’m devastated to say that I had to put my sweet baby to rest on October 7th, 2025. This girl was my first kitty...she spent 17 years with me, and was in my life since I was a child. I can’t begin to express the loss I’m feeling and the hole that's left in my heart in the wake of her being put to rest.
I've never been good at asking for help, but after taking some days to grieve, I'm looking at a few thousand dollars in vet bills I've accumulated during the last few months since she was diagnosed, and I'm wondering how I'm going to recover from it.
